Janhvi Kapoor’s ‘Gunjan Saxena’ and ‘Roohi Afzana’ will Release on Digital Platform?

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the lockdown has been implemented across the country due to which theatres are closed and the films are not being released. At this time, the makers are looking at releasing the film on the digital platform. Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana's 'Gulabo-Sitabo' and Vidya Balan's 'Shakuntala Devi' will now be released on Amazon Prime. According to reports, Janhvi Kapoor's 'Gunjan Saxena' and 'Roohi Afzana' may also be released on digital platforms.

In a conversation with Filmfare, Janhvi Kapoor said that she is not sure about the release of both the films on the digital platform. She also told that the makers have started the work of VFX but also said that everything is uncertain right now. Janhvi further said – The shooting of 'Gunjan Saxena' and 'Ruhi Afzana' has been completed; only the VFX part is left. At the same time, 40 percent shooting of 'Dostana 2' has been done.

Let us tell you that recently, Janhvi Kapoor's domestic helpers have been infected with the corona virus. After which she has quarantined herself by telling BMC about this. Janhvi is spending time in lockdown with her father Boney Kapoor and sister Khushi.

Talking about the work front, apart from Janhvi in 'Gunjan Saxena' and 'Roohi Afzana', she will be seen Karan Johar's multi-starrer film 'Takht' will be seen alongside Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor.
