“I will Live for you if I will get a Chance”- Irrfan Khan said this to His Wife

Irrfan Khan has taken his last breath on 29 April 2019. There was a lot of turmoil in his life from the year 2018. Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with a disease called neuro-endocrine tumor. In winning the battle with this disease, his wife Sutapa Sikdar supported him at every turn.

Irrfan Khan loved his dearly wife Sutapa Sikdar. During the release of his last film 'Angrezi Medium', Irrfan Khan expressed his love for his wife Sutapa. He had said- If I get a chance to live, I would like to live for Sutapa.

In a conversation with Mumbai Mirror, Irrfan said – Sutapa used to take great care of me while I was undergoing treatment in abroad. If I get a chance to live, I would like to live for Sutapa. Sutapa is the reason for me to live. Let us tell you, when Irrfan was receiving treatment from abroad, his wife was present with him at every moment.

Irrfan Khan and Sutapa were married on 23 February 1995. Sutapa was with Irrfan Khan at the National School of Drama. Sutapa is a writer. She was graduated from NSD. Irrfan and Sutapa have two sons. Whose names are Babil and Ayan. Sutapa and his two sons were present at the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai along with Irrfan Khan at the time of his death. The whole country is mourning the death of Irrfan Khan. The departure of an artist like Irrfan Khan is a big setback for the film industry, which no one can possibly compensate for.
