The event was organized for the release of the title track of Deepika Padukone's much awaited film 'Chhapaak'.  It is proved again that how much Deepika has become attached to this film. Deepika cried in front of the media during the trailer release, and even today, during the song's release, Deepika became emotional and hugged the real acid attack survivor Lakshmi Aggarwal. Actually, Laxmi Aggarwal was also present with Meghna Gulzar, Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey during the release of the title track of the film today. During this, Deepika and Lakshmi talked about the film. The music director of the song Shankar Ehsaan Loy sang the song during the event. Deepika too became emotional after listening to Shankar's song and she kept hugging Lakshmi continuously.
