Bollywood: Shahrukh Khan once helped Dinesh Karthik

Former Kolkata Knight Riders captain Dinesh Karthik told an anecdote during an interview that when he was not seen by anyone other than the owner of the team, Shahrukh Khan. Karthik who has been associated with the franchise since 2018, revealed that there was a time when he was going through a challenging time in his personal life when SRK helped him.

SRK arranged a private jet for Karthik

Karthik said, "There are no big-hearted people like him in the world right now. And the world needs more people like him. He is very real, and he takes care of you. Whatever happened in my personal life, He sent people from Chennai to Dubai in a private jet at his own expense for me."

Karthik didn't expect it

Karthik continued, "I don't know how many franchises would do something like this. But for me, it was unbelievable and unreal. I didn't expect it. I had never been on a private jet in my life. But it's just a fact. He was able to do this for me and he totally won my heart. Anything I can do for him, he is a wonderful person."

Karthik talks about his bond with Shahrukh

Karthik shared the bond he shared with Shah Rukh and revealed how the two had a meal together in Trinidad. "He sent me to Trinidad. SRK was there for a few days. He has a team in the CPL called Trinbago Knight Riders. Then I had dinner with him," Karthik said.

Karthik told Shahrukh 

Karthik explains, "I ate vada pav in the streets of Trinidad. He has a lot of fans in Trinidad. There too, he had to wear a cap. Even though I have a bad memory, there are some things you can never forget. Yes, and the time I spent with him was wonderful."
