Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn appealed to everyone a few days ago to donate to the residents of Dharavi, Asia's largest slum in Mumbai, which remains the epicenter of the corona virus pandemic in the city. Ajay Devgn himself claimed the responsibility for 700 families. It is now being told that he has donated oxygen cylinders and ventilators to the new hospital set up for Dharavi. Ration has also been given to some families.

Photographer Viral Bhaiyani shared a photo on Instagram and wrote, 'Our action hero Ajay Devgan has quietly donated oxygen and ventilator for the new 200-bed hospital in Dharavi. Since we all know this slum has become the main hub of Covid-19 and BMC did the right thing by starting this hospital which took them 15 days to make. Devgn also provided ration kits to 700 families of Dharavi.'

Ajay tweeted, 'Dharavi is at the epicentre of the Covid 19 out break. Many citizens supported by MCGM are working tirelessly on ground through NGOs to provide the needy with ration and hygiene kits. We at ADFF are helping 700 families. I urge you to also donate.'

Significantly, all the Bollywood stars including Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Sonu Sood are constantly helping the needy in this hour of crisis.
