Mumbai: Bollywood and South actress Tamannaah Bhatia says that she talked about the fees paid to an actress to work in a film and said that female actors can also enjoy getting more pay. Tamannaah said about the remuneration paid to the actresses, actresses have the privilege of determining the financial value and she also have the option to revisit the remuneration and not anyone else.

She said, "We have to break the perception of an actress that she does not deserve to be paid as much as an actor. Why is the question not raised for the actor? Actresses are also an integral part of the film industry, even an actress does a lot of hard work and every film needs a female lead just like a male lead to succeed. Why a female actor can't enjoy the privileged of more pay or equal to the male actor, is it just the man who deserves it? New decade, new attitude, new rules are needed today.

On the other hand, the actress also denied reports that she denied the role of Ravi Teja's girlfriend in director Trinad Rao's upcoming comedy drama. The report said that she had asked for Rs 2.5 crore to romance with the star and Nemartha backed down.
