What Was The Value Of 66 Crores Worth Of Seized Due To Strictness

After the implementation of Model Code of Conduct for Rajasthan Assembly elections, crores of rupees, cash of crores rupees, gold, silver and vehicle have been seized due to the strictness of the Election Commission.

Chief Election Officer Anand Kumar said that a total of Rs 14.93 crores cash, 3 lakh 96 thousand 161 liters (estimated value of 25.11 crores), illegal liquor, Rs 7.48 crores worth of drugs and narcotics, 17.10 kg of gold and 601.13 kg of silver (total value 6.88 crores rupees) and 260 different types of vehicles

(value 11.89 crores), in this way, various seizures worth Rs. 66.31 crores have been made. After the implementation of Model Code of Conduct in the state, after the checking of various vehicles, 16.08 crores of fine or penalty has been deposited.

After the implementation of Model Code of Conduct in the state, 4 thousand 203 illegal weapons, 1,450 cartridges, 370 kilograms of explosive material have been seized. There are a total of 1 lakh 74 thousand 711 arms licenses in the state.
