The Rule of Law Will Be Established Only After the Fear of the Law in the Mind of the Criminal: Yogi Adityanath

In Uttar Pradesh, with cybercrime, a fresh exercise has been started to punish the accused in crimes against women and children. There is also preparation to further strengthen the E-Prosecution Portal. In this sequence, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday inaugurated a two-day state-level workshop of prosecutors and thinkers at the police headquarters.

Inaugurating the workshop at Avni Auditorium of Police Headquarters located in Gomtinagar Extension, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the rule of law is necessary for good governance. The rule of law will be established only when there is a fear of law in the mind of the criminal. This fear will arise only through punishment.

In the two-day state-level workshop of prosecutors and thinkers at Police Headquarters, on 13 and 14 December, experts will discuss various issues of deliberation and specifics of prosecution. On the first day of the workshop, cyber expert Mukesh Chaudhary is discussing the modus operandi of cyber criminals, e-mail and social media, bank fraud as well as giving information about the compilation of digital forensics and evidence.
