The Presidential Candidate Showed his Ballot after Voting, Charged with Rs. 2200 Fine

The Lok Sabha elections in India are in its last phase and political parties have given full strength to their level for the final phase of voting. Although the code of conduct is being openly violated during the election campaign, but the EC is leaving the ban on giving instruction and speech, whereas Zelensky, who is going to become president in Ukraine, was fined because he had shown his ballot.

Volodymyr Zelensky, who is going to become the president of Ukraine, showed his ballot after voting during the second phase of election for the presidential election on April 21. On Election Day, he has been fined for showing their ballots to TV media workers and cinematographers.

A District Court in the Capital of Kiev has imposed a fine of 850 Hryvnia (32 US $ i.e. 2,255) on popular comedian Zelensky on Monday to break the election law protecting the confidentiality of voting. The court said that Zelensky has accepted the crime. He was not present in court.

Zelensky had shown to the journalists before the casting of the ballot marked by his tick before his name, on which his rivals had done a lot of ruckus. He can appeal against the fine within 10 days.

Zelensky is likely to take an oath at the end of this month. Zelensky has no political experience, but unexpectedly winning the presidential election cleared the way for becoming the next President of the country. In the second phase, he got 73.22 percent votes while President Petro Poroshenko got 24.45 percent of the votes.
