The Supreme Court on Tuesday announced its decision on the appeal of BJP youth leader Priyanka Sharma and asked for the immediate release of BJP workers. The apex court also asked him to apologize to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for sharing a photograph of the TMC chief on social media.

However, the apex court revised its order and terminated the condition of apology for BJP worker Priyanka Sharma. Earlier, the apex court had said, "We can give bail but he will have to apologize."

However, Senior Advocate NK Kaul, representing BJP's young wing activist Priyanka Sharma, argued with Sharma on the direction of the Supreme Court to apologize to Banerjee and said, "Apologizing is the amount to violate the right of freedom of expression." He is granted bail in the meantime that I will take bail in the meantime. " He instructed him to apologize.

After which the apex court recalled Sharma's lawyer NK Kaul and revised it and canceled the condition of forgiveness.

BJP youth wing from West Bengal Priyanka Sharma was arrested on May 10 for posting on May 9 on her Facebook timeline of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

In Mam, with Mamta Banerjee, Sharma made a comical turn of Priyanka Chopra's Mate Gala 2019 face for the unusually serious TMC supremo. Later, the Cell Convenor of Howrah District Club was arrested in the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha-BJYUUMU and presented in the Howrah Court.
