Rajasthan: Congress MLA said – Many MLAs Do Not Even Recognize Rajya Sabha Candidates

Before voting for the Rajya Sabha elections, the political mercury suddenly climbed with the letter of a senior MLA of Rajasthan Congress. Former minister and MLA Bharat Singh Kundanpur questioned the selection of Rajya Sabha candidate by writing a letter to Congress general secretary and state in-charge Avinash Pandey.

Congress MLA Bharat Singh wrote that it is already decided to win both the seats of Rajya Sabha, the severity with which all senior party leaders are focusing on the Rajya Sabha elections at this time has not been seen before. If the Lok Sabha elections were also done like this, the result would have been in favor of the Congress.

Questioning the candidate, MLA Bharat Singh said that after the Rajya Sabha elections, no one will have anything to do again. Most of the Rajya Sabha MPs do not even recognize the MLAs who elect them and send them to the Rajya Sabha.

It is worth noting that due to the election of four candidates in three Rajya Sabha seats of Rajasthan, it has become a very interesting contest. KC from Congress Apart from Venugopal, the other candidate is Neeraj Dangi. At the same time, the BJP has increased the difficulties of the Congress by fielding Rajendra Gehlot and Omkar Singh Lakhawat.

The Congress has 107 MLAs and also has the support of 12 independents. On the other hand, BJP has 72 MLAs, with the support of three MLAs of Hanuman Beniwal's party RLP, whereas the figure reaches 75. The Congress has two seats in terms of legislators' figures, but the fear of cross voting is also persecuting.
