RAHUL GANDHI EXPRESSES REGRET ON C. P. JOSHI’S STATEMENT

Senior Congress leader C. P. Joshi, who was involved in campaigning for the Rajasthan assembly elections, had to apologize for his statement. In fact, Congress President Rahul Gandhi has been admonished that he regrets it. At a rally in Nathdwara, Joshi attacked the BJP on the issue of religion.

Rahul Gandhi tweeted, "C. P. Joshi's statement is contrary to the ideology of the Congress party, do not let the party leaders make such a statement that any section of the society should be hurt, the principles of Congress respect the spirit of the workers. Joshiji must have felt a mistake, he should apologize for his statement. "What was said by C. P. Joshi?

During the campaign for the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly elections, the former union minister and Congress veteran Dr. C. P. Joshi said a sharp attack on the BJP saying who gave them this right that they should tell that Congressmen are not Hindus. Joshi said that if someone knows about religion then he is a Pandit and a Brahmin only.

 They said,

"He says that a Congressman cannot be a Hindu, who gave him the right to issue such a certificate? Has he opened a university?"

 C. P. Joshi further said in this gathering, "Uma Bharati is a Lodhi and she talks about Hindu religion, Modi talks about Hindu religion, only Brahmins who do not talk about it. Religion and governance are two different things, everybody has the right to obey their religion. "
