Minorities Should Not Trust Leaders Like Owaisi: Mamata Banerjee

Mamata Banerjee has warned about minority bigotry here. With this, she appealed to the people of the minority community that they should not trust people like Asaduddin Owaisi. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee distributed a check of 50-50 thousand among the laborers of Bengal called from Kashmir under the support scheme of the State Labor Department.

Appealing to the minority community, Mamta Banerjee said that I ask you not to be misled by such force. At the same time, she said that I also appeal to the Hindu people not to fall prey to Hindu fundamentalist forces.

Taking a dig at Asaduddin Owaisi, Mamata Banerjee said that some leaders are creating division among people, they have a party which is promoting it. These people come from Hyderabad and are holding rallies in this area. Mamta said that such people claim the protection of minorities, but you do not get into their talks.

Assembly elections are due in West Bengal in 2021, but preparations are still being made by political parties. Mamta Banerjee said that today there is talk of bringing Citizen Bill in place of NRC, this is a new trick to fool people. She said that those who are citizens of this country will now be made foreigners and what will happen if the government leaves? She said that I want to assure everyone that all of you will remain citizens of Bengal.
