The Patidar Leader of Gujarat and after joined Congress, Hardik Patel has targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After voting for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections from Viramgam, Hardik Patel said, "If I have to find a chowkidar, I will go to Nepal."

Hardik Patel said, "I want a prime minister in the country who can strengthen the country's economy, education, youth, and jawans." I should not be a chowkidar Prime Minister.

Hardik Patel is the son of BJP worker Bharatbhai Patel of Hard Taluka of Gujarat. He graduated from Sahajanand College, Ahmedabad. Hardik Patel agitated for the demand for reservations and OBC status for Gujarat's Patel community and after that, he became the face of the Patel community. Gujarat has a fifth share of the population of the Patel community. After this Hardik joined the Congress.
