Construction Work Can Be Done from 6 AM to 6 PM

Hearing on the air pollution case, on Monday, the Supreme Court gave permission for construction work. The Pollution Control Board presented its report in court today. Only after seeing this report, the court removed the complete ban on the construction work. The court has set a time limit for this. Accordingly, construction work was allowed from 6 am to 6 pm.

According to the report, the construction work may be relaxed slightly. It also states that there is a decrease in haze in December of this year as compared to the previous year. Also, the court has ordered Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh to submit a report on burning of stubble by 11 December.

The Central Government, in collaboration with the IIT, offered to constitute a committee of experts. This committee will consider what technology or tower can be prevented from pollution after installation. Also, the Central Government has asked the states of Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, including Delhi NCR, that the Environment Secretary from every state can join this committee.

An affidavit was filed by the Delhi government. The Delhi government said in court, "We are ready and will install smog towers in all our pilot projects."
