The BJP's West Bengal unit is conducting surveys to assess the victory of candidates before the Lok Sabha elections. BJP's aim is to win 23 of the 42 Lok Sabha seats. There are more than 60-70 candidates in the northern and southern part of the state, especially for one seat, from which the party is facing internal strife by distributing tickets.

Many factions inside the party are claiming the seat, which has forced the party's state unit to assess the strength of its candidates to fulfill the target of 23 seats. BJP national president Amit Shah has set a target to win 23 seats in the state.

A BJP state unit leader said it is unprecedented that we are getting a large number of applications in some seats. Ten years ago, we had to persuade people to celebrate our ticket on the ticket.

BJP's National Secretary General Kailash Vijayvargiya told PTI, "We have started external and internal surveys to assess the chances of victory of candidates" The survey will include aspects like the candidate's ability to win the seat and his popularity. Internal survey
