Akhilesh Yadav Prevented from Going to Allahabad University

SP supporters of the Samajwadi Party (SP) Akhilesh Yadav were prevented from going to Prayagraj while referring to security reasons, SP supporters ransacked the road from the house. On Tuesday, Yadav was detained by the security personnel at Amausi airport when he was going to Prayagraj to attend a program of SP supported a student at Allahabad University. Meanwhile, the security personnel of the former Chief Minister and his supporters have been nagging and shocked.

After getting the information of the SP president being stopped at the airport, the SP members strongly raged in Vidhan Sabha and the Legislative Council, which had to adjourn the proceedings of the House. At the same time outside the airport and at the SP headquarters, party supporters shouted slogans against the government and described it as the killing of democracy.

Yadav tweeted, I was stopped at the airport without any written order. Even after asking, officials failed to clear the situation. The only purpose of preventing student union from going to the program is to suppress socialist ideas and voices among the youth.
