UPSC has Postpone the Personality Test Phase of Civil Services Examination 2019

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has postponed the personality test phase of Civil Services Examination 2019. The Commission has also postponed the interview to be conducted under the Indian Economic Service / Indian Statistical Service Examination 2020 notification and various other recruitments.

According to an update released by the UPSC on 23 March 2020 on its website, the decision has been taken in mind the situation arising due to increasing cases of coronaviruses (Ko Split-19) across the country. The various selection procedures currently underway by the Commission been carefully guarded.

Let us tell you that personality test phase of the Civil Services Examination 2019 was scheduled to begin from 23 March today, which was proposed to run till 3 April 2020. According to the Commission's notice, new dates starting today from March 23 can be announced soon. On the other hand, UPSC has also postponed the notification of Indian Economic Service / Indian Statistical Service Examination 2020. The notification was issued on 25 March and the offline application process was to run until 13 April 2020.The Union Public Service Commission has also advertised the interviews to be held between March 30 and April 16, 2020, due to coronavirus, as part of many more ongoing recruitment processes.
