Rajasthan Government: Don’t ask for Fees from Students for Three Months

The Rajasthan government has stopped schools from charging any fees from students for the next three months in view of the outbreak of Coronavirus.  Apart from this, the schools have been directed to promote the students of all classes, including first class to eighth, except students of class 10 and 12.  The decision was taken at a video conference with Govind Singh Dotasara and Subhash Garg.

In this video conference, CM Ashok Gehlot has directed that from March 15, the school will not ask for any pending funds.  Apart from this, schools will not ask for three months fees from students. Also said that students education should not be interrupted, schools and colleges should arrange online classes so that students are not harmed for their studies.  Apart from this, Higher Education Minister Bhanwar Singh Bhati said that a five-member committee has been formed to decide the examination schedule of universities.

At the same time, Minister Govind Singh Dotasara told that school books have been made online, so that students can read easily.  Subhash Garg told the CM that the mid-semester examinations in technical institutes have been conducted online.  Apart from this, a YouTube channel has been started to provide e-content to the students. Govind Singh  said that more than 600 lectures have been uploaded on the channel.  Due to Coronavirus, more than 1.6 million people have been infected all over the world at this time and more than 95 thousand people have died.  At the same time, more than 64 hundred cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in India and 199 people have died.  At the same time, 21 days lockdown is going on in the country to deal with this virus.  However, the lockdown in Odisha has been extended to 30 April.
