Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Examination has Started

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) examination of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started. This examination has been conducted in 110 major cities of the country. The exam (CTET 2019 Exam) is being done in two shifts. The first shift is from 9.30 am to 12 noon and the second shift is from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. After the CTET exam, the board will issue OMR sheet and answer key. The mark sheet and certificate of the candidates who will pass the CTET Exam will be sent to their DigiLocker account.

CBSE conducts CTET examination twice every year. The first examination is held in the month of July and the second of December. There are 2 papers in the CTET exam. Paper 1 is for those who want to teach classes 1 to 5. At the same time, there is paper 2 for classes 6 to 8.

The main objective of the CTET exam is to recruit quality and skilled teachers in government schools. The CTET certificate is the first step to get a teacher's job in government schools. After passing CTET, a candidate can apply for a Central Government teacher job like KVS, NVS Army teacher, ERDO, etc.
