Rohit Philip has resigned from the post of Chief Financial Officer of Interglobe Aviation. Now Aditya Pandey will take over in his place. Aditya Pandey will take over his office on 16 September. Interglobe Aviation subdivision is IndiGo, the largest airline in the country. According to media reports, Rohit Philip has resigned because there was tension between the two promoters of the company over something.

IndiGo CEO Ronjoy Dutta said Aditya's decision to join the company was welcome. The dispute between the promoters of IndiGo, the country's largest airline, was recently discussed. One of its promoters, Rakesh Gangwal, had written a letter to the company's board of directors sternly denying that the dispute between him and another promoter Rahul Bhatia had been resolved. Gangwal had said that due to many 'serious unresolved issues' he would not vote in support of the special resolution of 'change in article of association'.

In his letter dated August 5, Gangwal had said that he would like to inform the AGM that news is being planted in the press citing unknown sources that the chairman has reconciled and the issue has been resolved. In this way, a misleading and false image is being presented that both the RPT and the changes in articles have the support of both promoter groups. This is the exact opposite of all the mail that he sent on 20 July, in which he had made his stand clear.

After the letter surfaced, shares of Indigo parent company Interglobe Aviation declined. Gangwal has made it clear that he will vote only if the board presents a supplementary proposal to prevent Bhatia's Interglobe Enterprises Group from gaining more rights and capacity.

Significantly, there have been reports of serious differences between the two founders of IndiGo, the country's largest airline. There are differences between the two founders Rahul Bhatia and Rakesh Gangwal over the strategies and ambitions of the airlines. The differences between the two promoters have intensified since the announcement of the resignation of airline CEO Aditya Ghosh in April last year and the appointment of foreigners to several top positions.

Indigo is not only one of the fastest-growing airlines in the world and the main force behind it is Rakesh Gangwal, who has worked in the American aviation industry. It is because of Gangwal that IndiGo has placed a record number of aircraft orders and is aggressively expanding its operations in India.
