Indian soldiers found that a team of three to four terrorists from Machikmari area were trying to enter the Indian border. The soldiers of 19 Garhwal Rifles of the Army challenged the terrorists after tracking them. At this, the terrorists started firing. One terrorist was killed in retaliation. After this, firing from the other side stopped. The army has conducted a search operation in the surrounding area to ensure that no terrorists infiltrate and hide in dense forests. However, according to the security forces, other terrorists may have escaped PoK.
