Terror Funding Case: Yasin Malik Sentenced To Life Imprisonment

Yasin Malik, the leader of the outlawed Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, was sentenced to life in jail in a terror funding case. He had just been transported from the jail to the courthouse. Yasin was seated in a chair. The decision on Malik's punishment was supposed to arrive at 3.30 a.m., but it was delayed until 4 p.m., and it has just come.

Imprisonment of Life in Two Cases and Fine of Rs 10 Lakh Each in 5 Cases

Yasin was sentenced to ten years in prison and a $10,000 fine under IPC section 120B. Ten years in jail and a $10,000 fine have been imposed under 121A, while life imprisonment and a $10,000 fine have been imposed under 17UAPA.

5 years in jail under UAPA section 13, 10 years in prison under UAPA section 15, 10 years in prison under UAPA section 18 and a $10,000 fine, 10 years in prison under UAPA section 20 and a $10,000 fine, UAPA Sections 38 and 39 of the have imposed a five-year prison sentence and a $5,000 fine.

Farhan, a lawyer in the courtroom, stated that Yasin Malik stated in court that he would not comment on the sentencing. The court should publicly punish him. Malik stated, "There will be no mention of retribution from my end."

On the same occasion, the NIA requested Yasin Malik's death. Yasin Malik stayed quiet for 10 minutes after that. Yasin Malik stated in court, "If I am called to surrender, I am ready for whatever the rest of the court believes is proper."

These Allegations are Against Yasin Malik

There have been many serious allegations against Yasin Malik. Yasin Malik was involved in the killing of 4 Air Force officers in Rawalpora, Kashmir in January 1990. Yasin Malik, along with the terrorists of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Force (JKLF), shot dead 4 officers, including Squadron Leader Ravi Khanna of the Indian Air Force.

Apart from this, Yasin Malik is also guilty under the UAPA Act of funding terrorist activities, conspiracy to terrorize, being a member of a terrorist gang, and sedition.
