In Maharashtra, an incident of honor killing has come to the fore. In Vaijapur tehsil of Aurangabad, a young man along with his mother beheaded his pregnant sister. After committing the crime, the accused reached the police station with weapons and surrendered. The police have also arrested his mother after the statement. Both the mother and the son were angry at the sister's love marriage.

The incident took place in Adgaon Shivar village on Sunday evening. According to the police, the name of the accused youth is Sanket Sanjay Mote (18) and the woman's name is Shobha (40). Together they killed 19-year-old Kirti Avinash’s neck with a sharp weapon. Sanket was so angry with the sister that he beheaded her after killing her. Not only this, after the incident, the brother came out of the house holding the blood-stained sister's head and started shouting loudly that she was over.

Affair and then court marriage

Avinash, son of Sanjay Thore, who lived in 302 Basti in Ladgaon Shivar, ran away from home with Kirti and had a love marriage in Alandi. After doing a court marriage, both of them started living in Khet Basti Goregaon. Kirti's family members were not happy with the marriage. Still, the girl's brother and mother started visiting her house.

Brother stabbed her sister till death

Police further said that initially, people thought that the marriage has got everyone's approval. But, something else was going on in the mind of the girl's parents. On Sunday, Kirti's brother and her mother came to meet her. Then the people of the house went to work in the field. Kirti and her husband Avinash were the only ones at home. He was lying on the bed as Avinash's health was deteriorating. Then as soon as Kirti went to the kitchen to make tea, mother Shobha and brother Sanket also went from behind. Mother caught Kirti and in the kitchen itself, Sanket hit Kirti's neck with a sharp weapon until her head was separated from her body.

The accused brother escaped from the location

When the girl's husband heard some sound of things falling, he ran to the kitchen, where Kirti's body was lying on the floor in two parts. Before Avinash could not catch the accused, the accused fled from the spot waving his weapon.

After this, he reached the police station and surrendered. Neighbors came to know about the matter after hearing the shouting of the husband and the police were informed about the matter. Later the police also arrested the mother of the accused.
