The blast was so strong that the windows of nearby houses were shattered. Jauhar Town is the same area where the infamous terrorist Hafiz Saeed used to live, Chief Minister of Pakistan's Punjab province Usman Bajdar has ordered the police to investigate the matter. According to the local newspaper, the Deputy Commissioner of Lahore said that women and children were also injured in the blast. He said that the reason for the blast is not clear but for the time being our focus is on relief and rescue work. Right now the entire area has been cordoned off. An eyewitness told that the motorcycle was parked, there was an explosion in it. However, Punjab province Chief Minister Usman Bajdar has ordered an inquiry.
