Horrific Accident On Pune Mumbai Expressway: 6 Vehicles Collided Together, 3 Died  And 6 Were Injured

In an accident at Pune-Mumbai Expressway, the car got hit badly and three people in it died on the spot. The accident was so horrific that the bodies of the occupants were pulled out by cutting the body of the car. Following the accident, vehicular movement on the route towards Mumbai has been stopped.

Six vehicles collided badly with each other near Borghat on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. Three cars, a private bus, a tempo, and a trailer were involved in accidents. Three people died on the spot and six were injured in the accident. However, the injured have been admitted to a nearby private hospital, where the condition of two is said to be critical.

Car sandwiched between two vehicles 

According to the latest information, the road from Pune to Mumbai has been completely blocked after the accident. Due to which long queues of vehicles are being seen on the road. All three people who were among the dead were in the car.

According to the information, a car first collided with a truck full of chickens parked on the side of the road. After this, a speeding trailer coming from behind collided with the car. Due to this, the car got completely crushed. At present, the bodies of the people aboard have not been retrieved.

Relief and Rescue

Soon after, when the incident took place at Pune-Mumbai Expressway the Police started to investigate the case. The team of Highway Police is engaged in relief and rescue work on the spot. According to the information, the fault of the truck driver is coming to the fore in the accident. At present, the police have taken him into custody. However, in this accident, a Swift car going from Pune to Mumbai got smashed between two big vehicles.
