WHO Chief Warns, “Problems will Increase if Lockdown not Removed Properly”

The World Health Organization (WHO) chief Tedros Adhom Ghebreyasus  has warned the countries of the world that if the lockdown is not removed properly, it can cause many problems. WHO Director-General Tedros Adhom Ghebreyes warned that most countries are considering reducing their so-called lockdown restrictions in view of the prevention of Corona virus infection, but they should take measures to get out of lockdown very carefully.

In an online press conference held in Geneva on Wednesday, he said, "If countries do not manage the infection with extreme caution and phased manner, the risk of reverting to lockdown in such a situation remains real." WHO Has recommended all countries to consider 6 parameters, which they reiterated. This includes strict monitoring, isolation, testing and treatment in every case, tracing every contact, adopting adequate preventive measures in the workplace and schools and getting the full support of the public on the new criteria for post lockdown.

According to the WHO report, more than 3.5 million cases of Covid-19 infected cases have been reported, including the death of about 2.5 million people. He said that since the beginning of the month of April, averages of about 80 thousand cases are coming every day. Tedros said, 'These are not just numbers, in every case there is a parent, son, daughter, siblings or friends.' Let us tell you that WHO is currently criticized due to many alleged negligence related to the epidemic.
