Firstly we will talk about the Rajpath Central Vista project. A public interest litigation was filed in the Supreme Court against the change of land use for the Rajpath Central Vista project. On this, Chief Justice SA Bowde said that a similar petition is pending, while the court has refused to stay the Central Vista project. The CJI said that nobody is going to do anything in Corona period. There is no hurry.

At the same time, during the hearing of a case, the Supreme Court asked the Central and State Governments what documents could be used for public distribution system besides ration cards. In fact, a petition was filed in the court, which said that universalization of PDS system is expected to be implemented from June 1, but PDS excludes those who do not have ration card.

Hearing the case of Nepali laborers, the Supreme Court asked the Government of India to answer the case of Nepali workers trapped in Uttarakhand. A public interest petition filed on behalf of the workers says that 900 workers are stranded in India, while the Nepal government has allowed movement of workers. The Government of India should also be facilitated. The court has asked the Solicitor General to get instructions.

At the same time, a petition was filed by an NGO against giving hydrochloroquine and azithromycin drugs to corona patients. Hearing this, the Supreme Court has dismissed the petition. The petitioner states that both drugs cause complications and heart disease, while the court has sent the petition to ICMR.
