Sanjay Kothari becomes Central Vigilance Commissioner, Sworn in the Presence of President and Prime Minister

The country has received a new vigilance commissioner on Saturday amid a nationwide lockdown implemented for the war against the Corona virus. Sanjay Kothari is now the new Central Vigilance Commissioner of the country.

Sanjay Kothari sworn as the Central Vigilance Commissioner at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Saturday, where as President Ramnath Kovind administered him the oath. Apart from President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi were also present at the swearing-in ceremony.

During this swearing-in ceremony, full attention was given to social distancing. Apart from the Vice-President and the Prime Minister, all those present, including the President, wore masks and were seated at a distance of one meter from each other.
