On the number of corona infected in Pakistan exceeding 14,000 figure, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the Government of Pakistan is closely monitoring the Covid-19 situation. So far, 301 people have died due to corona virus in the country. According to data provided by the Ministry of National Health Service, 3,233 people have been completely cured of the deadly virus.

The ministry said that till Tuesday, the total number of cases has increased to 14709, of which 5640 are from Punjab, 4956 Sindh, 1984 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 853 Balochistan, 320 Gilgit Baltistan, 261 Islamabad and 65 are from PoK.

So far, a total of 157,223 tests have been conducted in the country, of which 6417 tests have been done in the last 24 hours. Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Monday that the condition of corona virus in Pakistan is not serious, as in other parts of the world. He said that the government is keeping a close watch and the next strategy on the lockdown will be announced soon.

The government of Pakistan has called on all media groups on Tuesday to ensure the safety of its employees. The government has taken this step after 8 employees of a news channel were found to be corona positive.
