suraj bhat

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Wednesday appealed to the central government to send migrant laborers to their homes in the same way as the Kota was arranged to send students. Mayawati tweeted, "Due to the nationwide lockdown caused by the Corona outbreak, lakhs of poor and migrant laborers trapped in Maharashtra, Delhi, Haryana and other states are facing unemployment and starvation. They are not getting even a single meal properly and they want to return to their homes.

She said that in such a situation, it is a request to the Central Government to consider this demand sympathetically and also following the rules of lockdown properly, arrangements should be made to send them to their homes by special trains and buses etc. like sending students from the Kota was done.
