Lockdown: UP Buses left for Madhya Pradesh, CM Yogi Appeals to People Stranded in other States

After the permission of the central government, the Yogi government of UP has stepped up the drive to evacuate its people trapped in other states. UP's Additional Chief Secretary Avnish Awasthi said that 100 buses have been sent to evacuate people in Madhya Pradesh and in 40 buses we are sending people to Madhya Pradesh. All will be screened before boarding the bus for UP.

He told that the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath has requested people not to return to the state by foot. The government is making arrangements to bring them back. The Chief Secretary and the Home Department will discuss with other states to bring back the stranded people.
