Harsh Vardhan taking the Responsibility of Chairman of WHO Executive Board said, we will Fight together against Corona

India's status on the world stage has increased. Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan has taken over the post of Chairman of the Executive Board of the World Health Organization (WHO). Now Harshvardhan will decide whether people are getting the right treatment in every part of the world, whereas he replaces Dr. Hiroki Nakatani of Japan, Dr. Harsh Vardhan will be the next chairman of the Executive Board of the World Health Organization. The Executive Board of the World Health Organization consists of 34 members. Dr. Harsh Vardhan was elected unopposed in the World Health Assembly of 194 countries.

Taking the post, he said that I am aware that I am entering this office during the time of global crisis. All these challenges demand a common response because these are common challenges that seek to act in a shared responsibility.

Harshvardhan said that India has dealt with the corona virus in a proactive manner on a large scale and with determination and today our death rate is only 3 percent. In a country with a population of 1 billion 35 crore, only 0.1 million cases have been reported so far. Recovery rate is also 40 percent in India and corona cases are doubling in every 13 days.
