The increasing cases of Covid-19 in Kerala have attracted the concern of the government. Meanwhile, a report states that people who have been vaccinated are also getting infected with the corona epidemic. According to a report, officials of the Union Health Ministry have informed that about 40 thousand patients have been found in Kerala, who were completely vaccinated and became victims of infection.

Genome Sequencing

In view of the increasing cases of coronavirus in Kerala, the central government has asked Kerala to send genome sequencing of all such infected patients. This sample will be matched with other cases of the corona. The government has considered it very serious that people are getting infected here after getting the vaccine. However, it is not yet clear whether this is an effect of the Delta variant. Most such cases here have come from the Pathanamthitta district. The ministry has doubts whether there is any important mutation in the virus which is affecting immunity. This concern is about the new mutant variant whether it is escaping immunity.

A decline in new cases of the corona was seen in Kerala on Tuesday. On Tuesday, 13,049 new cases of the corona were reported, while 105 people lost their lives. The number of new patients in Kerala was again 21,119 cases and 152 deaths on Wednesday. Here, the Kerala High Court was told by the state government on Wednesday that people who have not yet received the anti-Covid-19 vaccine or have not been able to take the vaccine due to drug allergy or any other disease, can do essential tasks like buying food items including grocery. They can go out of their homes for the disease, provided there is no person in their household who has been vaccinated or who has an RT-PCR report of not being infected.

Kerala government told Justice PB Suresh Kumar that as per the new guidelines on COVID-19 issued on August 10, people living alone, who have not been vaccinated and who do not even have RT-PCR report of not infected can step out of the house for essential work. However, the Kerala government said this in response to a petition by a person, which claimed that no one should be allowed to leave the house if they did not take a single dose of the vaccine or did not have an RT-PCR report of not being infected. equivalent to arrest.

The petitioner's lawyer is also allergic to the drug and had argued that he cannot get the vaccine until the vaccine dose will affect any kind of allergy. The lawyer also claimed that the district medical officers and even private hospitals are refusing to give the dosage saying that they have no instructions regarding the same.
