After successful operation of the scheme in all these 10 districts, the action of e-challan was initiated by the Civil Police, Traffic Police and State Railway Police (GRP) in all the districts of the state. In some districts, 20 percent manual paper was being done due to non-availability of postage money to inform the vehicle owner about the new fine. After this, it has now been decided that paper challan or manual challan should be completely stopped from June 15 and only e-challan action should be taken by the civil police, traffic police and railway police.
