Coronavirus: Viswanathan Anand Extends his Stay in Germany due to Flight Restrictions

Due to the rapid spread of coronavirus worldwide, a major impact is being seen worldwide on sports. Due to the increasing cases, the events of various sports have been canceled or postponed. Not only this, but many players are also facing many difficulties due to coronavirus threat.

The latest case relates to India's star chess player and five-time world champion Viswanathan Anand. Anand had gone to the Bundesliga chess tournament in Germany and expected to return to India on Monday (March 16). But due to flight restrictions and difficult circumstances, he has to extend his stay in Germany.

Not only this, Anand, who arrived in Germany in February, has isolated himself for a week. Anand said that it was an unusual experience for him, he had to separate himself for the first time. It is being said that 50-year-old Anand will now return to Chennai at the end of the month.
