Coronavirus: US Open Tournament Stadium Transformed into Temporarily Hospital

The coronavirus has created an atmosphere of panic all over the world. Every country is struggling with this epidemic and many people are coming forward to help the people in their own way. The stadium, which hosts the US Open, one of the four Grand Slam tournaments, has been opened to Corona patients.

The stadium, which hosts the US Open Grand Slam tournament, will be transformed into a 350-bed temporary hospital to combat the coronavirus. This has been done because of which additional medical facilities can be provided in the city.

The Emergency Management Office of New York City plans to build a hospital with a 350-bed facility at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Middos. The US Tennis Association said construction could begin early because the facility has an indoor training center, which has multiple courts and open spaces.

Apart from this, food will be prepared for 25000 people daily in the tennis center located at Louis Armstrong Stadium for the doctors and medical professionals fighting this epidemic. New York has emerged as the epicenter of the epidemic in the US, where the death toll has crossed 1000.
