The Brazilian government and sports people have decided to convert the Sao Paulo Stadium into an open-air hospital.

The Pacaembu Stadium in Sao Paulo, Brazil, has been turned into an open-air hospital amid Coronavirus infection. This 45000 seat capacity stadium can accommodate more than 200 beds. It will be fully ready in 10 days. Up to 200 people can be quarantined together in this huge stadium. Thousands of cases of coronavirus positive people have been reported in Brazil so far.

It is also an advantage to make the stadium as a hospital, that there are many big hospitals around here, in which people can get better treatment facilities in an emergency. As of Monday afternoon, 1600 cases of covid-19 have been reported in Brazil in which 25 people have died. In such a situation, the virus is now spreading in Brazil and the administration is alert.

These figures are till Monday, but if we look at the Brazilian figures till 9 am on Wednesday morning, they are frightening. So far, 2247 cases have been reported in Brazil. In Brazil, 45 people have lost their lives due to this virus.
