Coronavirus: Karnataka State Cricket Association Donated 50 Lakh Each to Central and State Government

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and several state cricket associations have helped the central and state governments to fight the coronavirus. Now, the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has donated large sums of money to the state and central government to fight COVID 19.

On Sunday, the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has given Rs 50 lakh to the central government and an equal amount to the state government to control the coronavirus. In this way, the Karnataka Cricket Association has given one crore rupees to help the people, who are currently fighting against the coronavirus. Prior to Karnataka, Mumbai Cricket Association and Bengal Cricket Association have also helped the government in this crisis.

The KSCA said in a statement, "The Karnataka State Cricket Association has given 50 lakh rupees through the BCCI to the Prime Minister's Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM CARES) and 50 lakh rupees to the Karnataka Chief Minister Relief Fund." That this donation will help the state and the central government to deal with this disaster. It is worth mentioning that the BCCI has given Rs 51 crore to the central government, to fight against the coronavirus.

The Karnataka State Cricket Association has further stated, "KSCA will continue to monitor the condition of coronavirus in the state. Along with this, we are also working with the rest of the people and are engaged in helping the people of the state." Please tell that due to Coronavirus, about 25 people have died in India so far. Apart from this, around 1000 people in India are infected with this virus.
