Coronavirus is Spreading Rapidly in Pakistan, Number of Infected Crosses 50 Thousand Figure

The number of people infected with the corona virus crossed 50,000 after a record 2,603 ​​cases reported on Friday in Pakistan. The National Health Service Ministry said that 50 patients died due to infection in the last 24 hours, this brings the number of dead to 1,067.

Out of 50,694 cases in the country, Sindh has the highest number of 19,924 cases. This is followed by 18,455 cases in Punjab, 7,155 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 3,074 in Balochistan, 1,326 in Islamabad, 602 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 158 cases in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. It said that 15,201 patients have been cured of the infection so far, while 1,064 patients have been cured in the last 24 hours.

Officials said 16,387 samples have been tested and after this, 445,987 samples have been tested in the country so far. A special flight of Emirates arrived at Islamabad airport carrying 251 Pakistanis stranded in Dubai. The federal government has decided to restore international flights from Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar. Officials said that this decision was taken by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
