Coronavirus in India: 9971 New Cases Reported in the Last 24 Hours, 7 Thousand People have Died So Far

The fatal corona virus cases in the country are reaching record levels day by day. There have been 9971 new cases in the country within the last 24 hours, which is the highest ever in a day. At the same time, 287 people have died in the last one day. With this, the death toll in the country has reached about seven thousand. According to the latest data of the Ministry of Health, so far 246628 cases have been reported. At the same time, 6929 people have died. 119293 people have also recovered.

Recovery rate in India 48.20%

Explain that the recovery rate of Corona virus patients in the country is 48.20%. The ICMR has further enhanced testing capabilities to detect corona virus in infected individuals. The number of government laboratories has increased to 520 and the number of private laboratories has increased to 222 (total 742). The total number of samples tested so far is 45 lakh 24 thousand 317.

Status of epidemic in India is not yet explosive- WHO

At the same time, a leading expert of the World Health Organization (WHO) has said that the situation regarding the corona virus epidemic in India is not yet explosive, but such a risk remains as the country moves towards removal of the lockdown implemented in March. The time to double the number of corona virus cases in India is about three weeks at this stage. So the direction of the epidemic is not going to increase manifold but it is still increasing.

The impact of the epidemic is different in different parts of India and there is a gap between urban and rural areas. In South Asia, not only in India but also in Bangladesh and Pakistan, in other populous countries, the form of the epidemic has not been explosive, but there is always a danger of this happening.
