Coronavirus: Hockey India Donates Rs. 25 Lakh to PM Cares Fund

Many people and organizations have come forward to help India fight against the coronavirus epidemic. In this series, now Hockey India has also decided to help the country. The Hockey India Federation has decided to give a donation of 25 lakh rupees to the Central Government. Hockey India will donate this amount to PM Cares so that people infected with Coronavirus can be treated.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had appealed to donate in a special emergency fund for the country, after which the Hockey India Executive Board decided to donate funds for PM Cares. Mohammed Mushtaq Ahmed, President of Hockey India, said, "Everyone will have to come together to help the country in such a difficult time so that the country can win the fight against the coronavirus. "

He further added, "A unanimous decision was taken by the Hockey India Executive Board to contribute Rs 25 lakh to the PM Cares Fund." The country has a 21-day lockdown, effective until 14 April. This lockdown is an attempt to stop the coronavirus outbreak in India. Regarding this, Hockey India General Secretary Rajinder Singh has said that the government is doing its best.
