Coronavirus: England Cricket Team Decides to Donate 5 Lakh Pounds

The England cricket team has come forward to help their country to fight the Coronavirus epidemic. England's men and women team players have decided to cut their salary. All the players of both teams have decided to donate 5 lakh pounds to fight COVID-19 epidemic. The England and Wales Cricket Board had proposed a 20 percent reduction in salary in front of the players of both teams.

The players of the England men's and women's team together have decided to donate 5 lakh pounds, equivalent to a 20 percent reduction in their salary. This amount is the salary of the players for April, May, and June month.

The statement issued by the players said, "The cricketers who are under the All England Men's annual contract decided in the meeting that initially 5 lakh pound would be donated to the England Cricket Board right now. All the details of the exact amount to be donated will be given by the players in the next few weeks."
