Coronavirus: Cristiano Ronaldo Starts Practising at National Stadium amid Lockdown

Portugal's superstar footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has been advised by local officials not to break the rules of lockdown but still, the Juventus club striker was seen training at the National Stadium in Madeira, Portugal.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been lockdown in Portugal till May 1, while all the football tournaments around the world have been postponed for the time being. According to a report, Ronaldo was seen practicing at the stadium. He is currently spending time at his home in Portugal. Madeira's health secretary Pedro Ramos said, 'Ronaldo has no special permission to practice. Ronaldo must respect the rules like all citizens.'

Ronaldo was seen practicing at the National Home ground with fellow players. Not all citizens can organize any kind of crowd and can not organize any meeting and maintaining physical distance is also necessary. He said, 'Ronaldo had no special rights because he is equal to all of us. We are all facing the same epidemic. ' Because of the Corona epidemic, no sports of any kind are being organized all over the world. In the meantime, if Ronaldo is practicing by breaking the rules then this will send a wrong message because he is the idol of many.
