Corona Virus: 11 New Infected Cases Reported in Haryana, Figure Reached 87

The number of infected people in the state rose to 87 after 11 new cases of corona virus were reported in Haryana on Monday. The infection was confirmed in nine people in Palwal and two in Nuh district. According to the state health department statement, till Sunday there were 76 cases of infection in the state but on Monday the figure reached 87.

There are currently 70 such cases in the state which are infected with infection while 15 patients have been discharged after treatment and two have died. At the same time, the results of examination of 458 samples are awaited. According to the statement, out of the 87 cases, six are Sri Lankan citizens, one is from Nepal while 28 are from other states infected. State Home Minister Anil Vij said that more than 40 cases that have come up in the last 3-4 days are related to the members of Tabligi Jamaat.

There were 3,374 confirmed cases of corona virus reported in the country till Sunday night, 1,095 are related to the Tablighi Jamaat. This figure accounts for one third of the total cases. The number of COVID-19 cases in the country is doubling every 4.1 days. If there was no mobilization related to the Jamaat, these cases would have doubled in 7.4 days. This information was given by an official attached to the Ministry of Health.
