Meanwhile, the general public is facing difficulties due to the 21-day lockdown and the poor are the worst affected. Former Union Minister P. Chidambaram has targeted Tamil Nadu and Modi government on this issue. The Congress leader has said that the government did the lockdown without any preparation.

The former finance minister tweeted on Tuesday and wrote, "A direct ground report from Thiruvar district of Tamil Nadu says that there are some villages in every panchayat. But the help given by the central or state government has not reached any one village.''

P. Chidambaram wrote that if a state like Tamil Nadu, which claims to be organized, is still not getting the money, then what will happen to other states. He alleged that the Modi government announced the lockdown without any preparation. Worse, the situation is being handled incorrectly after the lockdown.

It should be noted that after the lockdown was announced, the central government announced a relief package, under which many big announcements like free groceries, money in the bank account for women. Apart from this, the state government had also talked about putting money in the account of laborers and poor and giving ration.

Significantly, after 21 days of lockdown, trouble has been seen at different places in the country. In which the most affected is the poor section, the work of daily laborers is completely stalled, in the meantime everyone is competing to get back home.
