Center Gears up to Speed up Corona Vaccination, ‘Har Ghar Dastak’ Campaign Starting from Today

To speed up the slow pace of corona vaccination, the central government is starting a grand campaign called 'Har Ghar Dastak' from Tuesday.

In this campaign being started on Dhanvantari Diwas, the focus will be on those districts where the pace of vaccination has been very slow. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a review meeting with the states to speed up the pace of vaccination after his return from a foreign tour.

Review meeting will be held with 48 districts with low corona vaccination coverage

As soon as PM returns from a foreign tour, PM Modi will hold a review meeting with the districts lagging behind in corona vaccination in the country.

There are 48 districts in 13 states in the country where the first dose of corona vaccination has not reached 50 percent. This meeting of PM Modi is to be held on Wednesday, November 3, in which the Prime Minister will hold a review meeting with the District Magistrates of the districts with low vaccination coverage. The Chief Ministers of the respective states will also be present in this meeting.

According to the Ministry of Health, among the districts that have been left behind in corona vaccination, 48.2 percent in North West district of Delhi, 23.5 percent in Nuh of Haryana, 49.6 percent in Araria in Bihar and 47.5 percent in Narayanpur in Chhattisgarh only got the first dose has been able, along with this, less than 50 percent vaccination has been done in nine districts of Jharkhand, Pakur, West Singhbhum, Sahibganj, Garhwa, Latehar, Deoghar, Giridih, Godda and Gumla.
