Bangladesh Cricket Team Decides to Donate Half of their Salaries to Corona-Infected People

The whole world is shocked by the coronavirus epidemic. Lockdown is being imposed in almost every country. So far, more than 19 thousand people have died worldwide from this virus. The Bangladesh cricket team has taken a major decision regarding the growing cases of Corona. All the players of the team have decided to donate half of their salary to deal with it.

According to reports, a total of 27 players of Bangladesh cricket team together have taken a noble decision. They have decided to donate their half-month salaries to the Corona-infected people.

A joint statement in this matter has been issued by the players. This statement said, 'The whole world is fighting an epidemic like coronavirus. The growing threat of coronavirus has also reached Bangladesh. All of us are trying to make people aware of what are the necessary measures to stay safe from this epidemic.' It was further said that a total of 27 players have decided to donate their half-month salary to help fight the coronavirus. After excluding tax, this amount will be around 25 lakhs.
