Another person died of corona virus in Uttarakhand while the confirmed number of infected with 41 new patients has increased to 999. According to the bulletin released here by the state health department, one person died of infection on Monday night at Sushila Tiwari Government Medical College located at Haldwani in Nainital district.

However, the report provided by the hospital stated the cause of death as a heart-related illness, whereas this patient was a resident of Champawat district. The person recently came from Mumbai and was also suffering from some other ailments. Thus far seven people have died due to corona virus in Uttarakhand.

According to the bulletin, 41 new patients were confirmed to be infected on Tuesday amid rising cases of corona virus in the state. In new cases, infection has been confirmed in 26 people in Dehradun, 11 in Tehri, three in Chamoli, one in Haridwar, with this, the number of infected in the state has reached 999 so far. Whereas 21 patients who recovered after treatment were discharged on Tuesday and with this a total of 243 patients have been discharged from hospitals in the state so far, but there are currently 746 cases of infected in the state.
