ADCP of Delhi Police Continued his Duty Despite having Cancer

The whole world is struggling with the corona virus crisis and India is not untouched by this. Hundreds of people are battling the virus in the National Capital Region of Delhi. In such a situation, the Delhi Police is busy helping people on the road, so that they can overcome the problems caused by this epidemic. Meanwhile, a Delhi police officer felt a sore throat last month. When he did his examination, it was found that he had thyroid cancer.

According to reports, Additional DCP IPS from Outer Delhi Anand Mishra started having a sore throat last month, despite this, he continued to do his duty. When he got his throat examined, it was found that he had thyroid cancer. After this he was admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute in Delhi where he was recently operated. Anand is feeling better after the operation and is currently in the hospital.

In an interview, Anand Mishra has said that he hopes to join duty again in a week and will be ready for all possible help in the time of crisis. Let us tell you that 136 new cases were reported in Delhi on Friday, after which the number of people infected here increased to 2514 and 3 patients died of this disease, due to which the death toll rose to 53. Apart from this, corona virus infection has been confirmed in 21 policemen so far.
